GLASS FUSING CLASS
The class size is a maximum of 6

You will make a glass art piece using glass fries, powders, stringers and crushed glass.
This class is one of the most popular and people often come several times. Its great to attend alone or with family and friends. I can organise private sessions for your own gathering or celebration. Please contact me directly for this.
I have been working with glass for a long time and am still excited and inspired by the endless possibilities that can unfold.
No previous experience needed and all materials are included.
Your work will be fired in the fire of the kiln and ready to collect in approx 3 days after the class.
Stained glass painting
A technical class - learn how to paint on glass using water and gum and oils.
3 places available, this is so everyone has enough 1 to 1 with me.
5 weekly sessions on Wednesday mornings from 10.00am until 1pm.
30th may until 28th May inclusive.
The course is £350.00 and includes all materials
In this course we will go through all the processes of painting on glass.
These will include mixing your paint, cleaning your glass, matting, tracing, shading, highlighting and using different painting mediums.
I DAY STAINED GLASS CLASS 19/04/2025

You will choose from a selection of designs and learn to create a stained glass panel approximately 18cm x 21cm, or 20cm square from start to finish.
Firstly you will choose from a selection of designs.
We will cover;
How to cut glass and then how to cut from a pattern to size
Glass grinding
Choosing your glass
Leading
Soldering
The final stage is cementing and cleaning the work.
If we run short of time I will do this final stage for you and you can collect.
Everyone works differently so you may or may not have tome to cement and clean as this takes about an hour.
The end result will be a gorgeous stained glass piece of art.
All materials and equipment are included
Due to how long the whole process takes there is a limit of 6 pieces per window panel
If you wish to design your own work and make a more complex piece then the Intensive weekend is better suited to you. In the longer class there is time allocated to
design.
Please note you will be handling lead so not suitable if you are pregnant or breast feeding.

Stained glass intensive weekend 25th, 26th & 27th April
This weekend course is an introduction to the art of stained glass.
I will keep this class size small, three places, so all of you get enough 1 to 1 teaching.
You will learn all of the skills required to design and make a stained glass window.
The class begins on Friday evening and this session is dedicated to designing your panel.
We will then spend the rest of the time cutting glass, leading, soldering and cementing your panel.
The finished result will be a unique stained glass window that is all your own work, below are examples of former participants pieces.
All materials are provided apart from rubber gloves, an old toothbrush and a white marker open, Posca pens are good. These items you will need to bring.
It’s a good idea to bring a packed lunch. Tea and coffee are provided

This piece measures 29cm by 24 cm
It is made using mouth blown antique lamberts glass which is then hand painted, silver stained and etched. The piece is leaded together and I can solder on hooks if you wish or recommend suitable stands.All my work is individual and each stained glass panel is unique and signed.
