The Owl and the Oak
The Peacock window
This window was created for a private residence.
I used a combination of techniques to create the Magnolias and the peacock.
This involved lots of heat-working in the kiln so that I could make the glass I needed for specific areas.
It was a joy to make.

Time and Space
I WAS ASKED TO DESIGN A WINDOW THAT WOULD INCLUDE SIGNS OF THE ZODIAC, MUSICAL SYMBOLS, THE ELEMENTS, A QUOTE FROM T.S. ELIOT, OUR SOLAR SYSTEM AND LILIES TO NAME BUT A FEW OF THE DESIGN ELEMENTS.
THE CIRCLES AROUND THE EDGE REPRESENT THE LIFE CYCLE OF A STAR.
SO THIS WAS MY DESIGN, BASED ON A DOUBLE SPIRAL. IN THE CENTRE ARE THE PLANETS AND THEY SPIRAL OUT ALONG WITH THE WONDERFUL QUOTE;
"WE SHALL NOT CEASE FROM EXPLORATION
AND THE END OF ALL OUR EXPLORING
WILL BE TO ARRIVE WHERE WE STARTED
AND KNOW THE PLACE FOR THE FIRST TIME."
T.S.ELIOT, LITTLE GIDDING
